About Riley Golden

I was born and raised in Lubbock, TX. I grew up in the Frenship Independent School District, where I participated in choir and was the mascot during my junior year. When I graduated, I went to South Plains College to study History.

I didn't like it, and I started pursuing a career in journalism when I wrote my first video game review for the South Plains College student newspaper, The Plainsman Press, in Aug. 2015.

A lot has happened since then, and I've grown a lot. I love Lubbock, and I can't wait to see how it grows and changes in the next few years.
